MBA Group Training provides learning opportunities through industry training and education services. Safe work practices within the industry are a priority for Master Builders and expert advice is available in a range of areas including occupational health and safety requirements, industry codes of practice, education and training.

The MBA Group Training Scheme has created significant employment opportunities throughout the industry as well as provided many employer benefits. Building Industry Training Courses are conducted throughout Canberra and the region.

Industry Training Courses

MBA Group Training offers a wide range of industry training options. All training is provided by qualified trainers with industry experience. Many of our training programs are approved by the ACT Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Authority which reimburses up to 70% of course costs for eligible course participants, upon successful completion of the course.

Builder Licensing

MBA Group Training provides training in the Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) CPC40110 and the Diploma in Building and Construction (Building) CPC50210 to satisfy the qualification requirements for licensing in the ACT.


Mandated Training in the ACT

It is a requirement that all construction workers complete the Asbestos Awareness Training and General Induction Construction card training before entering a worksite.

Asbestos Awareness Training - The regulation [section 445 of the Work Health and Safety Regulation] mandates this training for all construction occupations.

USI (Unique Student Identifier) Videos

Assurance Scheme

MBA Group Training will maintain a tuition assurance scheme to safeguard students in the event of MBA Group Training becoming insolvent and unable to return fees that have been paid in advance. The tuition assurance scheme will source similar training to allow the affected learner or student under this condition to complete their studies without further financial burden. However if the student cannot be placed, the tuition assurance will make refunds. 

Conflict of Interest Policy

Actions and decisions taken at all levels in MBA Group Training Ltd need to be informed, objective and fair. A conflict of interest may affect the way a person acts, decisions they make, or the way they vote in group decisions. Conflicts of interest need to be identified and action taken to ensure that personal or individual interests do not affect the organisation's services, activities or decisions. 

Declaration and management of conflicts of interest are specifically required for the MBA Group Training Board members as part of their legal responsibilities as board members.

Cancellation Policy

If we receive your cancellation a minimum of 5 working days prior to the event you are entitled to a full refund. Registrations cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the commencement of the training being delivered or failure to notify of non-attendance will result in the full training fee being charged.Substitutions will be accepted. MBA Group Training reserves the right to cancel any training initiative or to postpone it to an alternative date. All registered participants affected by such postponement will receive a full refund or be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available training course.
