New Disability Access Requirements from 1 May 2011

From 1 May 2011 building certifiers will not be able to approve plans that fail to comply with BCA 2011 disability access rules unless a concession applies. The Building Code of Australia 2011 (BCA 2011) mirrors the Access standards, so compliance with BCA 2011 achieves compliance with the Access standards. Jerry Howard will chair the next BSFA seminar on 20 April, at the Hellenic Club commencing at 6:00pm.
