Apprenticeships

Do you want a career in a creative, stimulating and rewarding industry?

Completing an apprenticeship through MBA Group Training can be the start of a secure and stimulating career in the building and construction industry.

MBA Group Training is now recruiting Apprentices for 2018

Normally, apprentices make a commitment to a single employer for the period of their apprenticeship (usually 3-4 years). During this time, they receive on-the-job training from the employer and technical training in the classroom.

MBA Group Training, a registered Group Training Organisation (GTO) employs apprentices and trainees.  Apprentices and trainees are hosted with employers during their apprenticeship to gain on-site work experience to meet the requirements of their apprenticeship.

The host employer determines the length of the hosting arrangement.  Apprentices are rotated through various employers throughout their apprenticeship providing a wide range of skill experiences

Using a Group Training Organisation (GTO) removes the administrative burden and makes it easier for organisations/builders/sub-contractors to host an apprentice to meet their work demands.

Australian School based Apprenticeships (ASBA)

Certificate II in Construction – CPC20112

The MBA Group Training’s Australian School Based Apprentice program responds to the growing need for Year 11 and Year 12 students to undertake structured workplace learning programs.  These programs develop links with industry and create pathways to genuine employment and a long-term industry career.  Students who express an interest in the program and are selected will enter into a Training Contract with MBA Group Training and the Department of Education and Training.

If you would like more information about an apprenticeship, please contact MBA Group Training.

KIDS Assist program

Certificate II Construction Pathways – CPC20211

This program is aimed at Year 10 students who are at risk of not completing high school.  MBA Group Training works with local government schools in the area to produce a program designed to take students who aren’t enthusiastic about school and put them into a practical and theoretical based training and work experience program.  The program is a great starting point, helping students to gain an understanding of future pathways in the construction industry.
