The aim of this course is to provide participants with an awareness of where asbestos may be present and the precautions that need to be taken.

PREREQUISITE
- OHS Induction Card (White Card)
- Community Members N/A

CONTENT
- Introduction to asbestos 
- Health hazards and effects
- Materials that contain asbestos - Location of asbestos

Certification
- Competent participants will be issued with a  certificate 80803ACT Identification and Safe Handling of Asbestos on completion of this course.
