Dispute Resolution
Breaching the Code of Conduct
If you have an unresolved complaint about the behaviour or conduct of one of our members, you may lodge a detailed, written complaint to Master Builders.
If either party is unhappy with the manner in which the complaint is handled or the outcome, then the Code provides a right of appeal.
If a complaint is found to be justified, the Appeals and Complaints Board has wide ranging powers to impose sanctions upon Members including termination of membership.
Contractual or Technical Disputes
If you have a problem with one of our members, with regard to a contractual or technical issue, we offer a free dispute resolution service.
Should mediation prove unsuccessful, we can appoint an independent arbitrator to your case.
